It's complex but, by far, one of the best automation apps you can get. some of my use cases:
- Run a script that looks in a folder for audio recordings and alerts me (for audio reminders)
- Turn on Bluetooth when plugged into power then turn off when unplugged
- Turn on GPS and switch to a different home launcher with big icons when my car bluetooth is active.
- Turn of Wifi when it's not connected for more than 3 minutes
- Toggle auto-rotate when shaken

Price increased. Its now $4.11...seems like a good app, but I'm a cheapo. Will buy if/when the price drops sub $3.

I bought this for my Galaxy Note 3 because I wanted a replacement for Smart Actions on my Razr Maxx. It's much more complex and it drained my battery really fast. I had to uninstall it.

@leisenstein , You should research your issue and see if you can find a resolution. I've been using Tasker, and corresponding with other Tasker users for years, and not have not seen that as a common issue. I used Smart Actions for a while too. It's a lot more intuitive but also a lot more limited than Tasker.

BTW, I agree that it is complex. I would not recommend it for the non-techie. Tasks as importable as text files. I'm surprised no one has written a more intuitive front-end that can create the tasks as importable files.
