I sure hope the rest of the episodes are better than the pilot.
I get the feeling that you didn't watch it. Everyone that I know that actually spent the time to watch it think it was awesome even if they aren't Star Trekkers or Trekkies.
I caught the last 45 minutes or so of the premiere and I must say it WAS AWFUL. First off, I love women and believe in their potential but this whole Hollywood feminization of everything has gotten WAY OVERBOARD. While watching I counted 3 male characters to about 8 female characters introduced. It was like I was watching Star Wars Episode VIII with Laura Dern all over again...... 2nd) Patrick, Patrick....know when to say when.....you have had a stellar career.....please retire to a nice beach somewhere! In Star Trek NG you were assertive, you had full command and you led. In PICARD you are a VERY old senior with a shaky and soft voice, you are hunched over and you just dont have the mojo of the well known Jon Luc. 3rd and lastly) This premiere had absolutely NO action. What a snooze fest! I sure hope they are leading up to something but as it was it was just BORING.

Show is a disaster...only Picards acting skill makes it watchable.
