The only problem with this is you have basically no Circuit protection. Most electric rangers have a 50amp circuit breaker, it’s going to take a lot to trip that.
^ Huh? It's only $12, and does have circuit protection. I don't see the big deal, it's a quick easy way to get your gas range working without redoing the circuit. Then again if switching to gas, that has to be plumbed so not as though the whole installation is "plug 'n play".
Besides, how often are you tripping the circuit on your range, especially if gas? IMO if it happens you have a bigger problem than whether the fuse in this is replaceable.
