The user interface seems really strange on this device. I'm guessing it's not touch sensitive. It's cheap but not worth the price. I bought an older Nook for not much more, and it seems more advanced than this, plus it was easy to root it. As to the screen size... My phone has same size screen except it's better.

I bought a sony reader first edition before i went to live in a 3rd world country where there were no english books available. It was amazing. In the age of kindles (especially paperwhites), this looks anachronistic but the reader really was an amazing thing to have there for the two years where going out after dark was incredibly dangerous. I'm not sure what inspired me to post this other than that the sony reader ecosystem was not good but the books i downloaded when i had internet were really presented well and it seemed to handle the free project guttenberg titles with ease (something my kindle sometimes has a problem with).

Anyway, i raise my glass to you sony reader. though you're old and awkward, you were a a great trendsetter.
