Happy Singles Day! Don't know what that is? That's okay, I don't think anyone does! But apparently it's a huge shopping day in China, and Alibaba just sold a billion dollars in the first two minutes of this event. Here are some Singles Day sales going on (that ship to the US):

  • AliExpress is having a Singles Day Sale plus offering a $4 off $5+ Coupon via their App
  • Gamiss has Up to 90% off Men's Apparel
  • RoseGal has Women's Apparel for $11.11 or Less

  • And some random items currently available:

  • JJRC H20 Mini Hexacopter for $12 at GearBest
  • Jungle King Mummy Bag Sleeping Bag for $30 at LightInTheBox
  • Roswheel Rear Pannier Bike Bag for $17 at LightInTheBox

No A/Xpress for me. Refused my acct unless I gave all sorts of personal info(maybe also illegal to ask for my SSN).

Very interesting tradition in China as it outsells any of our similar events. Course having 1 billion customers versus 300 million may have something to do with the disparity!

I only shop AliExpress for very specific items, most stuff in their sales is low quality.

The problem was quality that people complained about on Gamiis. The products weren't as advertised or very low quality. Didn't want to bother returns and paypal reimbursement for a $15 jacket

aliexpress, tho highly successful, is shady at best. Chinese resellers mostly have questionable sales practices. returns to China are almost pointless and Aliexpress will sell your contact info to anyone willing to pay. use only a disposable email address with aliexpress, or better yet, DO NOT ENGAGE. thank me later.
