I'd love to hear from anyone who gambled on this item and won. I don't trust Gear Best at all. And that is the only thing preventing me from wasting $20 on this deal.
I don't have experience with this item, but I have ordered several things from GearBest without issues. Shipping has been a little slow, but items have always arrived as promised and well protected. I strongly suspect GearBest and Banggood are the same outfit, many similarities.
I bought this lump of garbage from them. It reeks of fuel oil. So bad that I don't want it anywhere near my face. The item is unusable as-is. But of course, Gear Best charges the customer for return shipping, TO CHINA. Yeah, I'll pass.
So... I gambled on this and first and foremost, only use PayPal for GearBest! Second, I purchased this box to replace my Comcast HDMI boxes ($5.99/mo) with their steaming app - seems like a decent option. I could not load the app - it was not compatible with this version of android. I was able to side-load the app and I thought I was golden. Then when actually attempting to stream, Comcast embedded code that will not allow output to an HDMI port. Yes I was pissed I wasted $20....until I discovered kodi was on the box... :-)
^ that's hilarious... kodi is the ONLY reason to get this! I run kodi on a small android tablet with HDMI output to my TV. I'd never buy one of these China spy devices.
