Seems like my Sandisk cards have always died after about 2 years. They die such that they go into a strange read-only state. I say it's strange because bot Android and Windows think the card is writable. They write a file to the card without error, the file is empty and later disappears when the file system index is refreshed. I know that flash is supposed to wear out, but do other brands fail in this way, and this soon?
I've had similar problems with Sandisk cards and only with Sandisk cards. I tend to stay away from them now. On the positive side they will replace the cards as they have a lifetime warranty (but the process is tedious)
maybe it is this is happening ot the newer cards. I still use some of my full size SD Sandisk cards (4 and 16 gigs) and they still work fine. I got these back in 2005-ish.
