Bought this on the same deal at Best Buy last week. Talked to the rep and he said they have a ton in the warehouse (last year's model) they are clearing out. This is a hell of a deal for the price. I don't think we are going to see better this year. The picture on this TV blows away my 65" Vizio that is 5 years old, which is now going to our game room.
it's very tempting, I m def considerating it. I like Samsung TV, I had overall good experiences in the past. Still got a Samsung 48' 10 years plus working like a charm. Probably worth the extra bucks compare to entry level , and less known names like Hisense TLC Insignia
This TV is a Motion Rate 120 Hz which means it has a native refresh rate of 60Hz. Therefore, if you have a big tv and want to watch a lot of action or sports in clear quality, it only refreshes the image on the screen 60 times a second. This is the slowest refresh rate on the market. Hence why the price is so low. Try and buy a TV with a Clear Motion 240 rating. This means it has a native refresh rate of 120Hz, specifically designed to show fast movements and action smoothly without a "ghosting" effect.
Very tempting price, but this is a BF model tv, and the display is below entry level quality (still decent, but noticeably duller picture than the 7 series.)
I celebrated Thanksgiving in an old-fashioned way. I invited everyone in my neighborhood to my house, we had an enormous feast, and then I killed them and took their land. Jon Stewart
