I guess I can see getting a 1080p monitor this size for viewing 1080p video at native res. in an small area, and the longer lifespan I've seen from Samsung monitors and TVs compared to budget brands has to be worth something, but this is in the territory of pricing for larger 1080p TVs, aside from whatever Dex and Airplay2 are... I never much got into streaming over the TV itself, remote control just seems a really clunky interface unless the voice control is next-level.
