I have a push mower, a blower, and a trimmer, all from Ryobi. All work well, built better than my recently bought Makita (no kidding) push mower. At one point I wanted the smaller Ryobi ride on.However, I no longer consider Ryobi tools because I cannot find battery replacements. That is why I bought the Makita. But this Makita $uck$. Not sure what happened but one wheel is off the ground right out of the box. Will be back to the store soon.
My mower is a rebranded Murray with a B&S engine and while they aren't known for high quality, it has lasted a long time and there's a huge parts base out there, can get just about anything off , , or https://www.jackssmallengines.com
Steep investment, but then can't compare vs. push mower. Have a Sears mower with a Honda engine so that will last until the wheels fall off. Would love to switch to battery but ROI will be many many years.
I can't even imagine dropping this kinda cash on a Ryobi of all brands. Nope. This kind of equipment needs the power of fossil fuel... Until we get blue fusion engines like in Independence Day.
I almost NEVER have problems with whatever brand engines (H, B&S, Suzuki) are on my mowers. Other stuff like Xmissions, carbs, controls, blade clutch are usually what goes south.
