Note that it's not one of the more recent "Lithium +" batteries (and definitely not a "Lithium + HP" battery), but rather one of the slightly older versions. Does this mean anything? I have no idea, but it is worth noting, imo.
Based on user reviews you get about 10 min run time per amphr of battery so about 40 min with this battery which is more than I expected. Suction and build quality are rated high. Seems like it would be very handy to have.Rigid has their 18V 3 gal for $85 without batt & charger but a lifetime warranty. It actually has performance specs where the Ryobi doesn't so hard to make a direct comparison.
I've been using the Ryobi tools for a few years and have been pleasantly surprised and impressed. Their drill, circular saw, and even their 10" chain saw have been impressive. Definitely dropping the hint to the wife on this deal for Christmas.
