You can try this system for free. The app is free and they provide free printable pages. Google for "rocketbook printable pages"

I'm trying to understanding the benefit of using this system -- I write some something, scan the page, and it goes to my Evernote. But.... I can already do that in Evernote alone, so..... what's the point of this?

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like they have some smart tag stuff that helps organize things you write but still, I'm not sure I get it.

I don't find it compelling either. MS Onenote and the Office Lens app are pretty damned good for me. This is good if you're conscious of your carbon footprint, and don't want to use paper.I honestly don't give a criap about that. The app is pretty good for scanning multiple pages quickly, without having to press a button, and can send your notes to more places at once (Email, Evernote, etc.). The disadvantage is that the app will not scan any page that does not have their QR code, so I would still need to have a separate scanning workflow for other docs. For me, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, but for others they may not.

The surface of the page can take a Frixion pen's ink much like paper does, but instead of erasing it by the heat produced from friction, it can be wiped off with a bit of moistened towel.

This makes it really great for taking notes and making them look extra neat. Paper wears out otherwise.

The upload system can be used with Evernote. You assign a destination in the app to each symbol on the bottom of the page. You mark that symbol on the page when you're ready to upload the notes. Taking the picture sends it to that destination.

I like the system for the wipeable pages, as I love Frixion pens but hate the worn out pages.
