If you have a Costco Membership you could get the Ring 2 plus a year free subscription for $150.

The subscription is what gets ya but this is the best price I’ve seen yet outside of Costco.

Lots reviewers stated the problem with Ring false-positive recording if their houses are facing East.

I have the Ring Doorbell 2 and am having nothing but problems with the video quality. Every single video freezes/skips/pixelates.

Be sure to hardwire if you can. The battery on this one can't be replaced.

Will this stop people from stealing packages off my doorstep?

I bought one but have no clue how to use it. It's still sitting in the box.

I have the Ring 2. One of my complaints is that when you get the motion alert on your phone by the time you unlock your phone open the app and the app shows the live video the person is gone (Say its UPS). So I caved and got the subscription so I go back and watch the footage if I need to.

The guy complaining about video quality needs to check his wifi signal, more than like he needs to upgrade his wifi router or move it closer to the doorbell.

All in all I still like the doorbell. I don't even get up to answer the door now. Had solicitors come several times and I tell them I am busy and to scram.

Your better off buying a security system with 4 cameras that will record and send info to your smart phone. Ring charges for recording.

I set this up for a neighbor, with a small solar panel, cellphone battery, and regulator. It's been a year with no problems...
