This thing arrived today. Seems solid. Heavier than expected. Not a fan of the carnival colors you can't change though. You can't even set them to just stay on, the only option is to have them dancing around or scrolling. If this was one color that would stay on without any animation or gimmick, I'd give it a 10 for this price. As it stands, it is a solid 7. And will work for my purposes (sending quick messages on Xbox One in the dark).
