What efficiency? Check this a i5-8600K system, built with 16Gb, SSD&HDD,WLAN card, say 3x120mm fan and say a 27" monitor. Utilization 4hrs a day - Gaming 4hr/d and I use kWh at .14¢ (cents) So a GTX1660Ti with a Bronze + has a yearly cost of $94, and says would use a 400W PSU. The RX 590 although using a GOLD+ PSU indicates $97.50/year while again a 400W PSU.

A $65 saving from not going to a "efficient" GPU can go to good use. See for yourself!
