I read these books and found that it was as if it were different authors. The later books were well written and fun. There were a lot of interesting concepts introduced. However the earlier released volumes were written as if the intended audience were young adult or high school aged readers. Perhaps the author learned a lot as he went along. That being said, the price is right and definitely worth the read.
