According to reviews you Can't add apps! Even though box says over 200 apps, you don't get apps like
    Amazon
and Hulu. We looked at this TV before and it's not a very smart TV if you can't download and add the apps you want! Read some of the online reviews before you buy.

Phillips TV is not a good TV, many problems. It's not worth It, even if It's free.

I've also had issues with Philips TV's in the past. Seen better deals for better TV's. Pass.

Roku or fire stick and you're golden. I prefer my TCL Roku TVs though. Great customer service. Make sure to save you receipt.

Has 3 HDMI ports. I don't see many positive reviews online but this price seems insane for $200. If I needed a basement TV or one for the kids, I'd get it.

Seems like a no brainer if you get a apple tv or roku and you don't care about HDR. This would be a great bedroom TV.

    @VCU804

    I'm just quoting here, but:
"4K UHD HDR Smart LED TV"

It might not have Dolby Vision, but it should at least have some form of HDR.

Just a friendly reminder to everyone:

The Philips TVs in the US from
    Target
, etc are not the same as the Philips TVs elsewhere in the world, and at not by the same company - Philips simply licensed their name for use on the US. This is why none of them have Philips' signature Ambilight, and why you often see physically identical Magnavox TVs in stores that simply have a Philips badge.

So don't buy this based on the comfort of a solid brand, as Philips simply lent their name to it.

    The
    amazon
reviews of this TV really scare me. Why not get something that will last for a couple hundred dollars more?

If the "smart" TV isn't Roku or Firestick it just isn't worth it, as many of reviewers have noted.

If replacing a TV that is already using an chromecast, roku, apple TV, or
    amazon
    stick, this could make sense.
