I'll watch a few ads on YouTube for free if it supports the content creators. I don't approve of this deal.

The Chromecast + 6 months of Netflix for $90 deal is still going, all 3 colors are currently in stock. That's a lot better deal if you are already a Netflix subscriber. It gives you a little over $83 credit on your Netflix account, so 6 months of a standard plan or you can apply the credit towards a more expensive plan. Less than $10 to upgrade to the latest Chromecast. The text on Google's page says limit 3 per account, so I guess that you can redeem more than one Netflix offer if you need more than one new Chromecast. I did the deal a couple of months ago and my Netflix is paid from November 10, 2020 to May 12, 2021.

This has nothing to do with YouTube content, "YouTube TV" is a replacement for a cable TV subscription. "YouTube Premium" is the ad-free version of YouTube, it's $10/month for an individual or $18/month for a family plan.

Youtube TV isn't a great value any more. At 30-$35 it was fair but now its essentially just an alternative to Comcast.

youtube tv is way expensive for what you get, and you have to watch ads. not paying $65 a month to sit though ads. buy the chromecast outright for $49.99 or look for the 6mo Netflix deal.

A lot of misinformation in this thread...
YouTube TV was never $30. I've done my research - show me another service with this many channels AND unlimited DVR. It doesn't exist!

Youtube TV is no longer a good deal, they raise the price every year without adding value, I cancelled my subscription after the last price increase of 30%.

FYI, Netflix just sent out that they will be raising the prices on Dec 30th to $13.99.

Made me a little sad, but at the same time, I ordered 3 of the Chromecasts w/ Netflix and returned 2. They ended up refunding me the whole amount and I still have over $200 in Netflix credit. Not saying that should have happened, I only intended on getting the $50 back per Chromecast, but their loss for not checking.

The Chromecast + Netflix deal covers the price increase, you get $83.94 credit and that equals $13.99 x 6.
