I have this and have been very happy with it. It stops my cat spreading litter everywhere. Easy to empty and maintain. I would highly recommend dustless kitty litter to go with it. Rolling the box otherwise makes a cloud. I also have a small scoop for large litter balls that don't fit in removable slot.

That litter catch is removable. Been using these products for years. If you have problems with the gate coming loose you can run 2 sheet metal screws front & back to keep the grate from ever moving.
