    It's supposed to mean that it works with speeds above 300Mbs. So you need 1Gb ethernet to be able to use the full speed.

    Check with your ISP to see what modems are supported for what speeds. DOCSIS 3.1 is normally required for 400 and above.

    Found a 32x8 without power supply at a local thrift store for $1. I had an appropriate power supply and checked with Comcast to be sure it wasn't assigned already. It wasn't. So, good deal!
