For $8 bucks you may just get OEM for less on
ebay.
Why would anyone want to extend filter replacement.

There is a huge difference between oem, Fram and these guys. Do 5 minutes of research. Fram uses paper and cardboard while mobil 1 uses a micture of paper and metal for the benefit of both worlds and they also have a bypass filter.

I run this filter only with Mobile 1 oil, after 130K miles, still sounds like new!

Use the pull-down menus at this Mobil webpage to determine which filters fit your specific vehicle: http://www.showmetheparts.com/mobil/.

These are intended to be marketed to synthetic owners that have a longer interval. I agree to just use OEM for standard oil.

Or, just use the Napa Gold (NOT silver)/Wix or Hastings brands.
