Why if you have a perfectly good unit? I guess it could save some power from being an inverter type, and more if you had your Assistant turn it off when you won't be in the room then turn back on a few minutes before you return?
Okay taking a closer look, it is an interesting design, almost a split system the way they have the channel that lets you close the window more, but I'm not sure if that's going to make much difference.
Hopefully it's not rear-heavy because that could make it more of a juggling act to set in place or remove, having to move the window a lot more to do so. Might be a good idea to put in a rear brace ahead of installation.
