Actually cameras, the strongest magnets you're liable to find are inside a disk drive. You will not have any effect on a hard disk drive by waving a magnet over it. You'd have better luck with Harry's wand. I have to disagree with Solow, too. The strongest commercially available non-electronic magnets are neodymium, I don't believe there is a significant variation in the iron/boron ratio of different ones.
I recommend one of those huge suspended magnets, you know, the kind they use in movies and 80s TV shows to lift up cars holding a kidnapping victim before dropping them in the car compactor.
