NEVER use a food processor or hand mixer to make mashed potatoes.

Electric-mixed whipped potatoes are the best. Hands down the best way to "mash" potatoes is to whipem' smooth with lots of butter, fat free land o lakes creamer and a little chicken or beef bullion... Perhaps some garlic too...
