Cant remember what the Pro version had over the free one but for under $10 I bought it to support the developer as it's a lifesaver for those relatives that just click everything a get hijacked every once and awhile :P
I believe the Pro version automatically updates and automatically scans your PC as per whatever schedule you set. I have this on all my computers, and just bought one more for a laptop I got over the holidays.
The downloadable version link on the same page is still $30 before the coupon code.
When you add the $29 downloadable version to your cart the EMCPWPA35 coupon code no longer works - "The promo code EMCPWPA35 is for a product not in your shopping cart. Please check your promo code and try again." It appears that you can only apply the code to the boxed version, so there is no way to get this software for $9.
