I ordered a pair in the color described for $20.00. There's a very good reason they've been marked down. The waist was almost a full inch smaller than listed, one leg was 1/2" shorter than the other leg, and the intentional distressing was excessive. They looked ready to be donated to a charity thrift shop.

I've never compared the legs that closely but yeah, it seems like they are an inch smaller waist compared to some I've worn and washed several times, but it seems like they literally stretch to fit and then stay at that larger stretched size, only an inch smaller when new.

I agree about distressed jeans, usually buy colors with the least stress to them possible like Rigid or Rinse, and occasionally Black. Over months to years of use, they become distressed.
