For a generic home use laptop, with that 2 year warranty, especially if you use it with a monitor, this is a great solution. I've bought both the 4500U (Amazon) and 4700U (Costco) on behalf of the neighbour and they're great machines.
Downsides: This particular deal is the 8GB model - the only alternative is 16GB but memory is not upgradeable so for an Engineer like me who wants to use it for eg mobile lab / PoC type stuff, I'd wait till the 16 GB comes out but for home use, I think you'll be fine with 8GB.
Secondly, the screen - I use a macbook for work (which work pays for) so perhaps I'm spoilt, but the Flex 5 has a dull screen by comparison - it'll do fine, but don't expect bright or pop-y images with great contrast. Hence my comment of "esp with a monitor".
On the output, I can confirm that contrary to the Lenovo documentation, this laptop in both 4500U and 4700U versions DOES support 4k @60Hz out the HDMI port (as tested to my Sony TV).
On storage and the wifi card - storage is definitely upgradeable and I believe so is the wifi card. So 256GB SSD (and it's a fast one) is good enough until you upgrade it.
One last bit of advice - this was Lenovo's first to market laptop model with the new Ryzen 4500/4700U CPUs - on the Costco version, it turned out the webcam didn't work so it had to go get fixed and when it came back the fingerprint reader didn't work so it was fixed again. So it happens, but the takeaway is that if you buy it, be sure to test ALL hardware just to make sure it's been refurbed fully.
