^ I do sausages on my George Foreman grill but it's too much trouble to clean for bacon... back in the day I used a skillet, switched to a microwave tray that's supposed to keep the bacon out of the grease as the fat melts, then eventually decided that being in the grease helps it cook and by blotting excess grease off when its done, it's no more greasy to just sit in the grease while cooking.
Now I just put bacon on a corelle plate and flip over a second one for the lid. Never stains like the microwave bacon grate does, and as easy to clean as it gets, just wipe with leftover paper towel used to blot the bacon, and stuff in dishwasher.
I always use the leftover bacon grease to cook with: eggs, green beans, etc. Considering that the lb. of bacon only yields maybe 3 oz. after cooking, it would be a big waste to NOT use the grease.
