Looks like Jetson revamped their previous Beam model. Fun to scoot around the park, campus, or other places with smooth pavement. The solid rubber tires does not do much to dampen the bumps so you will definitely feel it. The new range of 10 miles is more realistic, but I got around 4. Should still be a solid little scooter.

Read the
Amazon
reviews first. I bought a similar brand, and the battery failed after 1 week. If you have the option to get a warranty along with this, I highly recommend that. If you can skip this and buy an adult scooter instead, that is preferable imho.

Was tempted to get one, glad I read the
amazon.com
reviews first. This should not be a hot deal, but a junk deal!

These are junk. I am sorry to say. Bought one last Christmas, kid rode it a few times and it died. Company sucks too.

These lithium scooters that have the 18650 batteries in the steering post and the motor in the front wheel are about as good as the kid's scooters that use old-school, heavy Sealed Lead-Acid (SLA) batteries underneath the floorboard. IOW, they're the equivalent of toys and are not designed for adults who want a reliable commuter scooter like a Bird.
