Cook with one of these at least 2 times a week. It is amazing and really helps our busy family have great options with limited time. A ton of recipes available online.

I'm just thrilled with the discovery of "instant pot". Just add water and press the magic button?

I bought one from
Amazon
for $97 a few days ago, but
Amazon
wouldn't adjust the price. They were more than happy to return the other one for free though and I rebought at the lower price... seems like a bigger loss for
Amazon
to not adjust the price, but whatever, works for me?

Just tried to add to the
Amazon
cart. But currently out of stock and won't add to the cart. Will have to try later to see if restocked.

That's a nice deal. I got my wife an Instant Pot for her birthday in September, and she uses it nearly every day. It has replaced our slow cooker and most of our pressure cooker needs (we still can in the pressure cooker). It also makes great rice. I wasn't sure these things would live up to the hype, but they do. One bit of warning, though. Buy extra silicone sealing rings. Those things can absorb odors and flavors. For example, my wife made something that used chili powder and later (after thorough washing and soaking in vinegar) she made a delicate cake-type dessert in it, and you could taste the chili powder in the dessert.

Anyone have experience using the ricer cooking function on these? Any better than a normal rice cooker?

The stove-top pressure cookers scared me as a kid (and made me very cautious as an adult). This one looks safer than the old-fashioned cookers.
