^ ?? I live near a major city but there are over 30 FM HD stations here, probably at least as many as I can receive over analog without some interference from overlap. Most of the analog also transmit 1 or more HD channels too.

^It's just my prediction. When I first heard about it 15-20 years ago, I was thrilled!

It's not always CD quality. HD-2, HD-3 are usually lower bitrates, resulting in less than FM quality and more like AM...lol..

It's more about how many more sub-channels they can get in one FM station, rather than quality...(generally speaking, but not always...)

Ask anyone and most have no clue about HD FM.

You'd think by now HD receivers & radios would be everywhere. Specially adopting them in vehicles (GM, Ford, etc..)

With G5 moving forward, we'll see more and more audio streaming going mobile.
