Been through 300 of these. No issues. Or at least customers never complained about them.
I have more failures with hard drives...
2-3 year test? Not that far yet. But customers love them
Only complaint I have from testing is on modern hardware they hover 280-400 write speed. I don't think I've seen it get over 500 read. Expect 10-20% lower speeds then it states. But they are so affordable, who cares!
16% one star reviews, mostly for early failure. I'd stick with a better known brand like Samsung, or Kingston. One failure quickly makes up for the price difference.
I've used the 240GB model and it does work well (so far).
Lastly, if you have a MicroCenter store in your area, Retail-Me-Not has a $5 off $30+ in-store coupon available. Search for MicroCenter on the Retail-Me-Not website and you should find the coupon.
FYI, since the SSD is slightly less, you might have to find a CD case (.25¢) or something else to qualify for the coupon.

The 480GB model has dropped $5....now $49.99
Note- Some on the reviews (and in an online review) state this is a DRAM-less product.
