    other than the resolution, this looks like an awesome deal. i keep considering chromebooks (there are a couple of good deals on those now), but for $100 more a Windows Laptop with better specs is a compelling option for those not ready for Chrome OS yet.

    Do people think this is reasonable for a new college student? She won't be much of a power user - mostly word processing and maybe some powerpoint. The 8gb ram and SSD seem nice for this price.
