Be aware that Hisense's Android TV can be buggy to say the least and their support is ***r.
On my budget Hisense, I can't even change some Android TV settings without causing a lockup while it's supposedly turned "off", have to unplug from wall to get it to work again.
I'll leave it on HDMI1 input and while off it switches to android TV input and tries to DO things that make it crash. I only realized this because one time it locked up after being turned off in HDMI1 input mode, it was sitting at the Android TV preview-video screen which was frozen. Other times it won't turn on at all.
Their CSR advised it may do this every few days and to do a factory reset.
Android TV on these is not just an alternate input with a smart module connected, rather it is the OS for the entire TV functionality so you don't have to be using Android TV smart features to have it cause a problem. I hoped for a newer firmware but they don't even have my model on their support page.
In other words, I'd MUCH rather have an android dongle than built in as the OS, though Andriod TV 11 was recently released and might resolve some issues but i doubt any brands have shipped stock with 11 yet.
At $2999 you don't have to worry about me @dave_c. Other than the one hanging in my pantry, I'll trust my good ol' SEVEN YEAR OLD 60" LG PLASMA (holy carp, did we actually buy the thing in 2013???). Yeah it's FHD but at maybe a 6' viewing distance, that's not a problem.
Sure I'm lusting for a 70" 4k with Dolby Vision, but no rush on that.
By the way, I've thoroughly scanned my dictionary of interesting words and just cannot for the life of me figure out what ***r is.

OH, HEY is that short for 3-star????? Nah, doesn't make sense...
