I bought this same package of Dewalt a couple years ago for $189. It came with a 50' hose and an 18 g Brad nailer. Compressor had 165 PSI max. I'd say this is a much better deal since I don't think the Dewalt compressor is any better.

I've always heard oil lubricated compressors last longer so I tend to shy away from ones like this.

^ They do last longer, but tend to be much more expensive and far larger, heavier sizes. Depends on your use, whether you need that or just something smaller to store and more portable.

There's also a middle ground, the lower RPM, higher displacement oilless models from California Air, Harbor Freight Fortress, etc. which have longer life than their higher RPM counterparts but are also much quieter. Those also cost more than this for same capacity and performance. Price vs Performance vs Lifespan. Pick two of the three.

They don't, they don't make their Blimps either.
They outsource the compressors and slap their name on them.
It's made by Zhejiang Hongyou Air Compressor Manufacturing Company.

Hey Leo, any deals on Maple syrup?

Save your money and, get the Bostitch from He Depot. Much better compressor and it comes with two guns, during the holidays.

These things should come with ear plugs - you'll go deaf working around one of these

This very much just like the piece of junk Porter Cable compressor gathering dust in my garage.

"Goodyear" an American brand on a Chinese product is revolting. It is cheap though. Good luck with it.

Goodyear does not make tools. They sell the rights of the brand name and logo to the highest bidder among Chinese manufacturers of no name compressors...
