Its a cheap assed finish. Probably sounds good.. often these are called studio guitars. got the sound.. but no looks.

Same price at Guitar Center. Who would buy before trying it? I like the cherry on this one. Here's a UTube review http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3LHiP6b0bc Seems like an nice guitar but I prefer superstrats.
