^ Not unless you have deep knowledge how to hack/crack yes you can turn it off and also change your waypoint too.

I don't think that flight even existed, that our gubbment decided it was easier to vanish a virtual plane than a real one.

You're not going to get the most out of this unless you have some pretty expensive flight sim contollers- yoke, throttle, rudder pedals, etc. A keyboard and generic joystick will be disappointing. Plus, these are very realistic sims. just turning on the engines and all the pre flight stuff you need to do can be impossible without a tutorial. Also, many can be very difficult to keep in the air. It's not a video game- just a warning.
