Not too many one star reviews, but a recurring theme: these things rust, especially the lock itself.

Grease the interior so nothing important rusts. Old looking lock on the outside isn't necessarily a bad thing. Take the hint from TV shows, that if someone sees a shiny new lock on something, they know something valuable was recently put inside.

More offputting is the vulnerability to picking, a screwdriver/hammer attack, or bolt cutters. Why get an insecure lock? Read the complaints.
