I used enpass for a while. I liked the fact that they let you use your own storage cloud account (Gdrive, etc) and it was one-time purchase price. They changed to a subscription model, probably because they saw how all the other password managers had all this recurring revenue, and they wanted some of that action. Looks like they want back to a lifetime price, but $30 is high. I paid about $10 when it was one-time priced. Nowadays I use bitwarden. The free version does all that I need, but I subscribed one year for $10 to support the devs.
