description is not worded correctly. starts making ice after 10 minutes, and can HOLD 2 pounds total. If it can produce 20 pounds total a day, then 2 pounds in 10 minutes is inaccurate. Still seems like a nice unit.
I had a clone of this thing (Emerson) and it barely works.
The ice comes out bullet shaped (and not much bigger) and is hollow, so the amount of ice is less than you think.
Also to get good performance out of this thing when its warm, you need to fill the machine with very cold water and ice. If you don't fill it with cold water and ice this thing puts out tiny, thin, useless bullet shaped pieces of ice.
I only paid about $50 for mine (refurb) and I still feel like it was a waste of money.
