This is not really a deal.

"That’s 4% at gas stations, restaurants, and on local transit and commuting (including rideshare), plus 2% back on all other purchases (on up to $1,000 spent).1 You will continue to earn unlimited 5% back at Amazon.com , Whole Foods Market, and on Chase Travel purchases with an eligible Prime membership."

I'm already earning 4% at gas station with my other card, so the only thing that is different is 4% at restaurants.

Just got a "change notice" that the penalty APR for one late payment will raise the interest rate to 30%

Set up your account for autopay at the minimum payment required. Obviously pay more if you can, but that way if you forget your payment will never be late and you will never have your rate changed as a result.
