I know people are ripping this machine for being old, but Anandtech did a great review of the 9th-gen chips that showed that, in almost every gaming case, this 8th-gen is either neck-and-neck or ahead. It seems like A) hyperthreading performs better than whatever processor gains they've made between gens (9th gen i-7 dropped hyperthreading) and B) most of these games end up being GPU-bound.
Unless you're rolling with a RTX2080ti this processor is not going to limit you. 9th gen desktop version costs another $175 (they sneakily dropped the $100 optical drive to show $775 on the main page) so you can plow that savings into a RTX 2070 Super and off you go!

But what Wattage PSU does this have? and will it support a decent gaming video card?
Thank you!
