    This model 5579 doesn't have an expansion M.2 slot for an additional drive. The other models (5570) do have that option along with ethernet and a DVD drive. So for this you'd have to replace the 1TB drive with an SSD drive and lose some storage. If you don't need the 2-in-1 function, go with the other Insprion 1500 (with or without a touchscreen).
