The specs are questionable at 1.5W (3.2W max), I mean I can't see a reason why they'd drive it that low, wouldn't produce much light, but on the other hand that makes it such a low power draw that if you wanted it for other than PC use, it's 5V powered so some old cellphone USB charger should work fine to power it.
This makes it different from the typical USB strips on or which are usually 12V powered, though 12V supplies aren't that hard to come by either, left over from some network switch or router for example.
