@Parkker, I gotta call you on this. First, if yours was defective, why didn't just exchange it under the Craftsman warranty? Maybe you got a bad one, that can happen, but this multimeter is DEFINITELY not junk. Look at the ratings, and there are a ton of them. Even at the regular price, for a basic multimeter, this Craftsman model is the best around. Mine is accurate, tested against a high end multimeter, it's reliable, and I have had zero problems with it, I keep it in my car as a spare tool now, but used it extensively for quite a while. At this price, it's a damn good deal. If you want junk, take a look at the Harbor Freight multimeter. Compare the build quality, and the leads. The HF product may as well be called disposable.
I have 2 of these; an extra one for the car and these are not junk and have been accurate with my tests. When the battery is low, THAT's when you'll get bad readings.
