I don't know about this particular software, but be very careful with what these type do to your computer. Some leave residual stuff to "protect your computer" and they can be worse than malware. Others go through almost indiscriminately deleting stuff off your registry and temp files etc. At the end you may not get much of an improvement.

CCleaner (free) is widely regarded as the best tool for cleaning and registry paring. Lots of other tools included. Never a problem since the Win XP days.
