You don't want a wok that is made with aluminum or has a non-stick coating. Aluminum will scorch and the non-stick coating due to the high temp cooking done in a wok will flake off sooner rather than later. You want a carbon steel wok that you season with vegetable oil and will develop a non-stick coating that is permanent or can be renewed and will last a lifetime without nasty chemicals.
