I have NEVER been a Bose fan, BUT, I heard one of these not too long ago, and I must admit, I think it sounded absolutely wonderful!!! At this price, it's in the affordable range and a better sounding product than the Soundlink Color, which is on sale now for $80-89 dollars, and that speaker also, in my opinion, is great too. The Soundlink Mini has a really nice, warm, full-bodied sound that is unlike anything in its price range. Having said that, this nor the Soundlink Color, are designed to provide music for an outdoor event or a house party (and that is NOT what it is designed for). For an office desk, bedroom, den, kitchen or small outdoor area, this is great.
