^ Is it though? Even a compact, 4.5" corded model like this, is quite powerful for its size.
In order to get as much work done with a (weaker) cordless, as this could do in 1/2 hour, you're looking at $225+ worth of tool and batteries, and the tool will be nearer double the size, harder to get into tight areas.
Get a cheaper cordless and the job will take longer and it's not built for that much continuous use so will wear or burn out much faster.
I suppose it depends on the job but angle grinding is one situation where I seldom need high portability. If I were maintaining a large field, mowing and wanted to sharpen blades still on (or at least at) the mower deck, then a cordless would be my first pick but otherwise not so much, maybe at an automotive junkyard to harvest certain parts or body panel segments.
