I have a Gear VR that I use to watch movies on long flights, but since it requires my phone to work, and I usually require my phone to be a phone, it hasn't seen much use outside of that, sadly.
I would love for one of these - I've been bedridden since February due to a chronic pulmonary illness (that I have to take immunosuppressants for, so I REALLY can't go anywhere; my immune system has all the fighting power of an anemic baby hamster atm), and staring at the same four walls for months on end gets pretty old, even with TV.
Some wireless VR sounds like just what the doctor ordered (except none of my doctors actually have, as they are all focused on preventing my immune system from killing me, which, to be fair, is something I want even more than wireless VR)
I've gone to places to play VR and at Two Bit Circus. I've played beat saber, a rafting game that uses the entire room, one with walls where you shoot things and move around a dungeon, and an escape room.
Well, If I can get this, It would be awesome. My kid is asking for this. I am waiting for a good deal to buy but It still quite expensive for us. Cross my finger!
I like going on to google earth and placing myself all around the world. It's awesome to just place yourself in the artic and look around you. Nice little getaway in your very own home.
